Yoga Classes for everyone - wherever you are, whatever state of expansion you're at.

Yoga classes are offered on two levels, level I (beginners and gentler practice) and level II (still gentle but moving faster once more knowledge has been gained about the practice). With different styles for different people, different benefits.

When you think about yoga, you probably already feel drawn to a specific style.

An instinctive personality type may like to practice a rather demanding and challenging type of yoga. An emotional personality type may feel attracted by a more meditative and spiritual type of yoga, and a rational personality type may like practicing yoga in a very structured environment, where they can get lots of explanations from the teacher.

Description of the different classes

There are many different styles of Hatha Yoga, different ways of interpreting the ancient writings into a practice. Regardless of what style of yoga you choose to pursue, the intention is to harmonize your mind, body and soul as well as the energy around you. Beginners are welcome in all the classes, although one might be more comfortable to choose Level I where applicable.

Hatha Vinyasa

Expand & Enjoy

  • An holistic and gentle approach to all yoga asanas, meditation, pranayama & philosophy. Practicing awareness and allowing stretching, strengthening and playful expansion. In the level I we allow to get acquainted with the new 'yoga language' taking it slowly to adjust to new things. In the level II we allow for more play with intermediate and advanced poses. Good class for beginners to start with.

Vinyasa Flow

Challenge Mind & Body

  • Playing with more flow and deeper expression of the poses. Inspired by strong practices such as Ashtanga, Anusara, Forrest Yoga, Budokon Yoga. The goal is to detoxify muscles and organs through deep practice to improve circulation and cultivate a strong body and calm mind. Here at Yoga Wisdom we go deep into the correct alignment with softness and allow ourselves to be where we are, promoting self love & nurture. Beginners are also welcome to join Level II

Kundalini Yoga

Meditative Practice

  • This yoga guides us into a meditative headspace, activating specific parts of your brain that increase awareness and generate more balanced control. Through breath, specific movements, and timing, this practice works to increase the nervous system on a cellular level and increase your energetic awareness.

  • Aerial classes are a bunch of fun while you are strengthening, stretching and aligning the body physically. Challenging the mind and releasing tension.

Beginners

Exciting new start

  • In the beginners classes we can take the time to see what is needed to understand, creating space to explore the new way of moving, being and breathing. As a beginner you are also welcome to come to the other classes. Periodically there is a beginners 8-week course which includes the philosphy and the origin of yoga. Next one starts in March 2023
