Cleanse and activate

This meditation was given to me one early morning when my focus was jumping all over the place, later I read up that when sushumna nadi is not open, the mind cannot settle. The second part of the meditation ignited by the understanding that kundalini is not necessarily awakened in muladhara chakra. But the awakening of the nerve plexus through stimulating the movement of the cerebrospinal fluid, and awakening happens in the head, the seat of consciousenss when we initiate and awaken synaptic connections in the brain we are awaken to our physical potential. Allowing healing of the nervous system at each level within the torso along the spine. Nerve complexes are found along the spinal cord, which is healed and awakened by the movement of spinal fluid.

Healing with Consciousness - Part 1

Complimentary or alternative healing, as it has come to be known, already starts in its name suggesting that it isn’t a full approach in itself, lacking in some way, some call it holistic healing, and is often turned to when conventional medicine has failed or neglected something. It is refreshing when “alternate” or metaphysical approach is part of the healing, a natural way of thinking of yourself as more than just a mechanical body. For sure, any approach is not the be-all and end-all and cannot be. Your wellness and mental state is all in your hands, nobody else’s. Often on our quest for healing not all expectations are met, and we must be aware of category mistakes, when conceptualizations appropriate to one category are inaccurately applied to another. As my husband says, if I break my arm, will I go to an energy healer, my answer is yes, if I knew the healers that used to mend bones, but I don’t. Thus capacity, capability and availability plays a role in a decision. But mostly it will come down to belief.

Yoga and spiritual practice

Yoga is more than a passion for me, it is a way of thought, a philosophy which guides me deeper into the realm of spirit and giving me the tools to delve into myself and understanding who I am beyond existence. Connecting the life of matter and the truth of our being as light or unmanifest, beyond form and separation. It isn’t always the easiest way, when you look into your own challenges, seeing that you can love what you resist and open to the fact that all is you. For me it is the true way of seeing, and continuing to open these pathways within to grasp and understand it on a level of consciousness, not merely mentally, living the way of the warrior. Without judgement, or when there is disapproval of self (meaning self or other), then to tap into compassion and allowing. To soften the edges of opinion, thought, belief and structure.
